Lindner Depa Interiors, the joint venture between contracting company Depa and leading European interior contractor Lindner Group, has been awarded the AED 375 million contract for the fit-out of 13 of the Dubai Metro's Red Line stations.

The project involves the fit-out of ceilings, wall claddings and floor finishes, as well as the designs developed by KCA International. The contract is Lindner Depa's first, and will see work carried out on the 13 stations from Jebel Ali Port, along Sheikh Zayed Road, Burjuman, Dubai International Airport and ending at Rashidiya. The designs for the stations centre on the themes of fire and water.

"We are delighted to be involved with this exciting project and with the fantastic start to our strategic partnership. We believe this will be the first of many major contract wins in our target markets," said Klaus Kulman, general manager, Lindner Depa Interiors.
