Facilities management provider Emrill has been awarded membership with the Emirates Green Building Council (EmiratesGBC) in recognition of its active involvement and contribution toward sustainable energy solutions in the UAE.

Founded in 2006, EmiratesGBC has been tasked with advancing green building principles in the UAE to protect the environment and ensure sustainability in the country. Emrill’s many initiatives in this regard have earned it a place on the body.

“Emrill is delighted to have been awarded membership with the Emirates Green Building Council,” said Simon Roopchand, general manager, Emrill Energy. “We look forward to working with EmiratesGBC and contributing towards their mission to build a more sustainable and energy efficient environment in the United Arab Emirates.”

Emrill made history in 2013 with its launch of Emrill Energy, becoming the only integrated facilities management company equipped to provide full service energy solutions from audit and analysis, to design and installation for residential and commercial buildings.

Last year, the company partnered with the UAE’s largest independent community manager, Novus Community Management, in a landmark deal to reduce the environmental impact of all the residential and commercial buildings managed by the latter.
