The CID awards are in December and momentum is already building.

COMMENT, Design

Following the success of the Commercial Interior Design (CID) awards last year, the 2008 edition of the awards already show great promise.

Enquiries about the entry process are starting to come thick and fast. It will be a bit different this year, with CID's creative team in the process of putting the final touches to the awards website. We'll let you know when it's all up and running.

Categories will remain broadly the same as last year, including Interior Design Firm of the Year, Architect Firm of the Year and Young Interior Designer of the Year.

The lead sponsor of the awards, Al Aqili Furnishings, has just firmed up its commitment to a three-year deal and the events team is in the last stages of selecting a venue to host the crowd of hopefuls and industry figures. Even at this early stage indications are that we can expect to see a big increase in head count and a battle for places.
