Dubai to host 12th OMAINTEC conference, exhibition

Theme of the conference is “Maintenance towards Globalisation”

Dubai will host the 12th Operations and Maintenance Conference in the Arab Countries (OMAINTEC) under the theme of “Maintenance towards Globalisation” from 18-20 May, 2014 at Atlantis The Palm Hotel & Resort in Dubai.

The conference aims to provide an opportunity for experts and specialists in the fields of operations and maintenance in the Arab countries and their counterparts from developed countries to exchange ideas and experiences in order to develop the sector in the region.

Besides the conference, the 12th Arab Maintenance Exhibition will take place this year within the FM Expo exhibition in Dubai World Trade Centre from 19-21 May, 2014. Major companies like Saudi Oger and the Bin-Ladin Group will be making their presence felt at this exhibition.

The OMAINTEC conference will focus on eight inter-related topics, which include operations and maintenance of facilities, incorporating electricity production, electricity generation, transport networks, substations and switchgears, water desalination facilities, etc.

The conference program also features 22 workshops to be conducted by both Arab and international experts in the field of operations and maintenance, as well as panel discussions that highlight both regional and international experiences about working in the sector.
