Steel company Arcelor Mittal is to hold a seminar in Dubai on Wednesday night at which it will put forward an arguement as to why steel sheet piles would be a better permanent method of building Dubai's canal than using concrete.

The event, at which Arcelor Mittal's Luxembourg-based commercial director Boris Even will provide the keynote speech, will also discuss new developments in sheet pile sections, applications for use in infrastructure projects and the use of sheet pile in underground car parks.

The seminar will take place at Jumeirah Emirates Towers at the Godolphhin Ballroom from 7pm-10pm and a number of places are still available.
