Arabtec appoints CEO of new subsidiary

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Hammadi will lead the new education & training arm

Arabtec Holding has announced the appointment of Dr. Abdulrahman Al Hammadi as CEO of its newest subsidiary specialised in the education, training and certification for Emiratis in the construction field.

The new subsidiary will provide education, training and certification of UAE nationals within the construction and training sectors; particularly in the oil and gas infrastructure fields.

Al Hammadi comes to his new role from Arabtec Construction, as head of Emiratisation, where he led Arabtec’s plans to attract UAE talents.

He brings to his role 25 years of experience during which he held positions in education and training, such as associate provost of Central Academic Services at the Higher Colleges of Technology.

“Launching a company dedicated to education, training and certification in the constructions sector is a highly strategic decision for Arabtec, as the company continues to make significant leaps in the number and size of projects and is therefore in constant need for the right talents,” Al Hammadi commented.

Al Hammadi will be in charge of planning and implementing the foundations for the academic institutes as well as the selection of suitable curriculums.
