Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree have opened DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Residences Dubai - Al Barsha located within a short walking distance of Mall of The Emirates.

The 359 room property is the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel to open in Dubai and the second to open in the United Arab Emirates this year.

"DoubleTree by Hilton is proud to present our fourth opening in the Arabian Peninsula region. In addition to the existing DoubleTree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah, the recent openings on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE and in

Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Dubai opening will secure our Middle East presence and build awareness about our brand and service culture," said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton.

"As one of Hilton Worldwide's market-leading brands, DoubleTree by Hilton caters to both business and leisure travelers by focusing on a warm, welcoming guest service culture built around the idea of CARE - Create a Rewarding Experience - not only for our guests, but also for our employees and for the communities in which we serve. Our guest's journey starts with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie upon arrival, adding a touch of warmth and indulgence after a day of travel."

With a selection of 181 spacious and modern rooms, 13 suites, 41 studios and 124 one and two bedroom apartments, DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai - Al Barsha will appeal to both leisure and business travelers for short and long-term stays.

The hotel also features a wide range of amenities including complimentary WIFI for Hilton HHonors Diamond and Gold members, complimentary WIFI for all in the public areas, three meeting rooms, two with flexible sizes, complimentary shuttle to the Mall of the Emirates and Dubai public beaches, complimentary 24-hour business and fitness centers, sauna, steam room, and an outdoor pool.

Guests will have a selection of dining options in the hotel's three outlets: Tikka Cafe, where they can experience Indian flavors in a casual and colorful atmosphere; Bistro 55, serving a broad selection of local and international cuisine; and the Lobby Lounge, where guests can relax with a comforting coffee or tea and delicious pastries.

Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa said: "This latest opening is a testament to our commitment to bring diverse hospitality to the market. We are pleased to be able to offer new and affordable hospitality to our guests and the communities that we serve in locations that are appealing and attractive to both short and long term guests. This latest opening complements our existing portfolio and we are confident that this will pave the way for the next DoubleTree by Hilton opening coming up this summer in Dubai."
