Malaysian firm secures projects as part of $47.3mn of contract wins

Eversendai has announced that it has landed three new projects worth a combined $47.3mn in Qatar and India.

The Malaysian firm has picked up a $24.5mn deal in the Mesaieed Industrial City area of Qatar which will see it provide and install steel for the expansion of the Gabbro minerals terminal.

It has also landed a $5mn package to provide steel for skylights at the new Mall of Qatar. This work, involving design, supply and erection of skylights, is due to complete in April 2015.

The firm also annuonced the win of a $17.8mn contract in India to supply steel to Reliance Industries for its J3 Project in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India.
