Falcon Island developer appoints green architects
A++ to design 150 new limited edition luxury villas
Al Hamra Real Estate Development has announced the appointment of world-leading specialists in sustainable development A++ as architects for 150 new limited edition luxury villas.
The new residence, due for completion in December 2016, will boast 11 mansions, and is to be constructed on the group’s Falcon Island site, in Ras Al-Khaimah.
Through exclusive partnerships with interior design group, Luxury Living, and home furnishing brands Bentley Home, Fendi Casa, and Kenzo Maison, each of the villas will combine sustainable technologies with quality craftsmanship.
They will also be built in line with ‘Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design’ guidelines, as Al Hamra vies to become the first real estate development in the GCC region, and one of only a handful worldwide, to achieve the coveted Platinum LEED Certification.
Benoy Kurien, general manager at Al Hamra, said: “Falcon Island is the ultimate in sustainable waterfront living. We’re not just on par with some of the world’s best projects we’re actually topping them.
"These luxury residences will be built to the highest architectural and environmental standards, and surrounded by the finest in hospitality and leisure amenities the region has to offer”.
Paolo Colombo and Carlo Colombo, owners of A++, added: “Without doubt the visionary minds behind Al Hamra Real Estate Development and the innovative approach of A++, will enable us to achieve excellence and develop a highly innovative sustainable residential offering.”
