Broadway Malyan to work up Jumeirah Hotel plans

Fifth phase of development set for completion in 2018

Broadway Malyan has been appointed to undertake the concept design work for the fifth phase of expansion of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which has been earmarked for completion by 2018.

The project involves the addition of an ultra-luxury resort to the existing Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which will contain 350 hotel rooms with panoramic beachfront views of Burj Al Arab, a dedicated new beach offering private beach experiences and recreational marine facilities.

It will also house spas, health clubs, elevated tennis courts, a sports complex and a range of ocean-facing restaurants, bars and retail outlets.

It will also involve an expansion of the existing yacht marina on the site, which will double its capacity.

The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is one of 22 hotels across ten countries operated Jumeirah Group, which is owned by Dubai Holding.
