Consultant sought for Dubai fisheries centre
Municipality looking for someone to design centre and prepare tenders
Dubai Municipality is seeking consultants to do the design work into a new research and development centre for fisheries.
The company has issued a tender for firms to design the centre, prepare tender documents for its construction, supervise operations and then train staff using the facility for up to a year after it is handed over.
Firms need to be licensed to operate in Dubai and need to submit their documents to Dubai Municipality's projects unit in order to pre-qualify.
Bids to carry out the work must be sent to the municipality's head of major projects by no later than midday on 31 August 2014.
The Municipality said it retains the right to either accept a bid, negotiate the three best offers or refuse any single offer without having to state reasons for its action.
