Macro extends existing contract with Al Ain Zoo
Macro will add CAFM to the FM services it provides at Al Ain Zoo
International facilities management company Macro has extended its existing contract with Al Ain Zoo to include computer aided facilities management (CAFM) through Macro’s own helpdesk and CAFM provider, fm24.
The CAFM service will include a 24/7 multilingual helpdesk and asset management capability that will track all reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities for the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre.
Operational service levels will be measured with management reporting circulated automatically.
Imran Akram, director of Macro’s fm24, said: “Al Ain Zoo is a valued Macro client and we look forward to extending this contract to include CAFM, helpdesk and asset management capabilities. Providing an independent service will allow for accurate monitoring and measurement of Al Ain Zoo’s FM supply chain.”
Macro’s managing director, Bill Heath, added: “We have a longstanding relationship with Al Ain Zoo, and we are very pleased to be extending this contract. Its LEED Platinum and Estidama 5 pearl rated Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre is truly exceptional.”
Macro has been providing specialist facilities management consultancy services at Al Ain Zoo since 2010. The services have included FM design reviews, the development of an FM strategy and the production of policies and procedures.
Macro has also mobilised an FM team to manage the transition and handover of the Desert Learning Centre.
