Victaulic appoints Traynor as divisional manager
Position to focus on Middle East, Africa and India
Victaulic, the world leader in mechanical pipe-joining and fire protection systems, has appointed Stephen Traynor as divisional manager Middle East, Africa, India.
Traynor brings more than 20 years of professional experience in engineering and construction to the team in the Middle East.
His technical experience will help consulting engineers and contractors to benefit from new product innovations, including initiatives such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems, which are being rolled out globally.
“My role is to enable the team in the Middle East to deliver a service from the pre-planning and design stages of a project to the operation and maintenance of installed building services”, said Traynor, who joined Victaulic in 2006.
Victaulic has complete solutions that appeal to a wide range of markets. The company is committed to investing in new product developments in response to customer feedback and has recently strengthened its manufacturing bases to secure its supply chain and deliver further benefits.
“The company has more than 95 years of experience in designing and manufacturing pipe-joining systems and throughout that time has pursued a policy of innovation and continuous improvement,” added Traynor.
“The current pressure on building and plant construction is intense, but project partners are welcoming the alternative approaches we offer that are safer and save time compared with traditional labour-intensive techniques.”
