Ecotherm Contracting wins Al Raha Beach MEP deal
Contractor to carry out work on four residential towers of ten stories
Ecotherm Contracting (ETC) has secured a deal for an undisclosed sum to carry out MEP works on the Al Raha Beach development in Abu Dhabi.
The project, Plot PC 501, contains four residential buildings of ten stories and 31 townhouses.
ETC will be responsible for all the MEP works including engineering detailing, procuring, installing, testing and commissioning, and handover of all systems. These include water supply, drainage, storm water, firefighting, air conditioning, ventilation, low current systems, and the entire low voltage and medium voltage works including substations and street lightings.
Plot PC 501’s towers and townhouses will share common parking facilities through the buildings’ podiums, with extensive landscaping upon the podium roof on the first level.
The project also comprises a sky garden, swimming pool and children’s play area, changing rooms and gymnasium looking out over the swimming pool deck, as well as roads with associated landscape areas.
Aabar Investments PSJ is developing the project, with Khatib and Alami Consultants supervising and a Murray & Roberts/Ghanoot joint venture executing the work.
