CIBSE president to visit UAE

President of UK-based CIBSE to speak on water usage challenges at Dubai event.

The president of the UK-based Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) is due to speak on the challenges of water system design and operation at a forthcoming event in Dubai.

Professor John Swaffield will address an audience at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Academic City on 1 June at an evening event hosted by CIBSE UAE. The presentation will focus on the challenges for the building services engineer of water usage and the problems that occur when there is too much or to little water available.

The event will also feature a presentation by Bill Jolly, principal sustainability consultant MEP with Hyder Consulting Middle East. Jolly is due to speak on the implications of the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system in the UAE market.
