Ashraf Rateb, head of the company’s African sector, told Egyptian business monthly Amwal Alghad that the contract includes the construction of utilities and water utilities alongside other infrastructure works for the three projects.

ACC is scheduled to deliver the industrial zones project by the end of 2017, the report said.

The company is also carrying out a mega housing project in the Algerian capital Algiers worth around $50mn to $60mn, it added.

Algerian authorities awarded the contract for the housing compounds, which are aimed at providing as many as 1,500 units.
