MEP Middle East 2008 awards announced

The second MEP Middle East Awards is to take place in December 2008.

The second MEP Middle East Awards ceremony has been announced for December 2008. The event is set to follow the success of the inaugural awards, which were presented at a gala dinner in the Grosvenor House Hotel, Dubai last December.

Over 200 industry professionals watched the winners of the first MEP Middle East Awards collect their trophies before enjoying a sumptuous three-course dinner. A total of twelve trophies were presented in 2007, with Atkins, Drake & Scull and ETA M&E Division being among the big winners on the night, having fought off fierce competition from their industry peers.

Further winners of the 2007 MEP Middle East Awards included Reem Emirates Aluminiuum, Al Shirawi US Chillers, Pacific Control Systems and BK Gulf's Basheer Massad who picked up the coveted award of MEP Project Manager of the Year.

This year's event is set to be even bigger, with the trophies already in hot demand. The first sponsors have already been lined up, with both Ducab and Faisal Jassim Trading signing up to support the event for the second year in a row. And the event is set to be an even bigger success.

To ensure your nomination is counted, see the official website online at www.itp.net/events/mepawards for an application form and further details of the awards and judging process. Entries are now being accepted for all categories.
