Parsons appoints head of Yanbu operations

Company has overseen development of Saudi city for almost 40 years

Parsons has appointed Robert G. “Bob” Smith as senior vice president at its Saudi Arabian arm to oversee the development of Yanbu Industrial City.

Mr Smith has been with Parsons for more than 20 years working on government projects in various areas including engineering management, project management, construction management and sales management. He has worked in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and the Pacific Rim.

Parsons has been acting as managing contractor overseeing the development of Yanbu Industrial City for almost 40 years.

The company's president, Virgina Grebbien said: “Bob’s leadership experience will be a strong complement to our team in Saudi Arabia, and will be a valuable asset as we continue to serve the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. We are confident that Bob will help us continue our tradition of customer service excellence.”
