Omniyat, Drake & Scull to launch Palm resi project
Pair to develop apartment building at entrance to Palm Jumeirah
Developer Omniyat and Drake & Scull have created a partnership to launch a new residential project at the entrance to Dubai's Palm Jumeirah.
The firms said the project, known as One at Palm, will be jointly developed by both firms but managed by Omniyat. It will receive its official launch at the Cityscape Global 2014 in Dubai next month and enabling work is due to begin by the end of October.
The firm has employed three international designers to work on the building, which it said would be a luxury property with apartments ranging in size from 2,500ft2 to 20,000ft2.
The designers are Japanese interiors specialist Super Potato, Lebanese landscape architects Vladimir Djurovic and New York-based architects SOMA.
Drake & Scull CEO Khaldoun Tabari said: “We are delighted to partner with Omniyat to create a unique landmark on the iconic Palm Jumeirah skyline.
"Our 48 years’ expertise with high-rise tower projects around the world will prove vital to delivering a project worthy of this prestigious location.
