SZHP hands out $102mn in housing help to Emiratis
Money goes to 716 eligible UAE nationals to help build modern homes
The Board of Directors of the UAE's Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme has approved AED375mn ($102mn) in housing assistance for 715 eligible Emiratis.
The announcement was made by Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works and the chairman of the national housing scheme.
The money covers 102 residential housing grants, 584 housing loans, of 28 government houses as well as applications in the category of "Establishing a House."

The approval of the new housing assistance coincided with Eid al-Adha and the Arab Housing Day.
