Dubai Land Department (DLD) will unveil new technology to assist real estate and investment transactions at GITEX Technology Week.

The government property organisation will show off its latest systems at the event, which takes place from 12-16 October at Dubai World Trade Centre.

"Dubai Land Department has achieved significant leaps in the development of digital solutions for real estate transactions, which now allow customers to undertake a full range of investment options without having to visit Dubai,"  said Ali Belqaizi, director, Department of Information Technology, DLD.

"This strategy is allied to the overall vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai - may God protect him - to facilitate the transformation of Dubai into a fully functional Smart City over the next three years."

DLD says its technology development programme and training for dealers and end-users will mean ever faster services with less effort.

"DLD 's development of technology is not just restricted to facilitating investment. We have also instituted advanced e-learning tools to disseminate real estate knowledge through smartphones," added Belqaizi.

DLD will be at the Smart Government of Dubai Stand (S2 S3-A21) in Sheikh Saeed Hall number 3.

This year GITEX marks its 34th edition.
