Fujairah is putting final plans in place to host the first UAE Economic Planning Forum.

The event is being held from 28-29 October at the Novotel Fujairah Hotel under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah.

The forum will comprise four sessions - three related to strategic sectors and one focused on the economic development of Fujairah.

His Excellency Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, said: “As the federal national authority mandated with the economic development of the UAE, the Ministry of Economy is confident the inaugural forum will have a holistic and positive impact on our national economy.

"This event will serve as a shared platform for all those engaged in the development of the UAE economy across diverse sectors and verticals on the local and federal level.”

It is hoped the forum will strengthen cooperation among the seven Emirates.
