Tender floated by Haya Water for 50km network in Al Khuwair

Omani contractor Al Ansari Trading Enterprise has said it is the lowest bidder on a sewage network project in Al Khuwair.

The work for Haya Water involves the construction of a 50km pipeline.

The firm has recently completed a job for the same client, where it built a sewage system in Coastal Darsait, Aynt, Wadi Kabir, Hamriya and Ruwi.

Deepak Seru, general manager (civil projects) of Al Ansari Trading Enterprise, said it has tendered for the main contract works for Ras Al Hadd Airport and between 8-10 jobs with the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

“We are very selective about our clients. We are working with three or four clients – Royal Court of Affairs, Haya Water, ROP – and we get repeat business from them so we are ok with that. We are already growing revenues around 10-12% year-on-year just from our regular clients," he said.
