GCC landscape business set to reach US$16.3bn by 2010
Demand rising for both commercial and residential landscaping design and maintenance services.
The value of the landscaping business is set to double in volume in the next two years to US$16.3 billion, according to CMP Information, part of United Business Media, organizers of the new landscaping show taking place in November.
Demand for both commercial and residential landscaping design and maintenance is expected to shoot up over the next couple of years spurred by the boom in the regional construction industry, organizers of Gulf Landscaping said.
"Driven by the construction boom, many households have increasingly turned to landscaping services to design, develop and maintain their investments while landscaping contractors are learning how to grab their share of this high growth market," said CMPi group director Chris Fountain.
The event will run alongside two other exhibitions, Working Buildings Middle East, an exhibition and conference for building services and facilities management, which launched last year, and Fit Out Middle East, an inaugural exhibition for the final stages of construction.
