Rotana reveals plans for six Saudi hotels

Company says properties will create 1,500 jobs for Saudi youth

Rotana has announced plans to open six new hotels in Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar and Dammam.

Four of the properties will operate under the Centro Hotels by Rotana brand, Rotana's lifestyle affordable hotel brand.

Omer Kaddouri, chief executive officer of Rotana Hotel Management, said: "Rotana will work to promote the concept of economy hotels, a relatively new concept in the kingdom and which will offer guests a wonderful stay experience at convenient prices while still providing them with the highest standards of hospitality.

 

"The announcement of Rotana's expansion plans comes as we approach the opening of the 'Rosh Rayhann Hotel by Rotana' in Riyadh during the first quarter of 2015.

"One of our main developmental priorities is choosing an appropriate strategic location, and we are pleased to say that the 'Rosh Rayhann Hotel by Rotana' will be located in Olaya Street next to many of Riyadh's most popular shopping centers and business districts."

Kaddouri added: "Rotana's expansion plans will add a significant number of new hotel rooms to the Kingdom's hospitality sector before the end of 2017 and will provide more than 1,500 jobs for Saudi youth in the hospitality sector, this affirms Rotana's commitment to training Saudi cadres to enable them to join the this thriving sector and enjoy a work environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and excellence."
