Big 5: SKM returns with air of confidence
HVAC company back with a stand at show to reassure customers of presence
SKM Air Conditioning has returned to Big 5 after an absence of ten years with the aim of reconnecting with its customers in the region, the company’s chief financial officer, Ahmed Fahmy, has said.
The HVAC firm has recently undergone some senior management changes, which have brought a greater desire to assert SKM’s presence in the market.
“We want to pass the message to our customers that we have not left. With a new management setup we are very much in the market to approach our customers and be closer to them,” said Fahmy.
He added that the decision to return to the event was made irrespective of the resurgence of the region’s construction market in the last year.
“With the boom or without the boom, we’d be here. We want to give our customers a message to tell them that we’re here and we want to serve them with better products and better product lines. We are working on enhancing the quality of our products, concentrating more on the performance of the machines, the quality of the air coming out of the machines and the energy efficiency of these products,” he said.
SKM is exhibiting a new product range for centrifugal chillers and hygienic air-handling units at this year’s stand.
