Faithful+Gould win mega mixed-use contract
Firm to provide project management services to Qatar's Halul Real Estate Investment Company on the new 460,000m² Doha Oasis
Faithful+Gould has won a mega mixed-use contract to provide project management services to Halul Real Estate Investment Company, Qatar.
The consultancy will provide a project management office (PMO) solution to the four main components of the new 460,000m² Doha Oasis mixed-use development.
The mixed-use podium will comprise housing, retail, a food court, cinemas and cafes as well as one of the largest indoor amusement theme parks that will occupy the central area of the podium and will accommodate 26 or more different rides and attractions.
The contract will establish a detailed project delivery plan to identify and address all associated risks around the project, which includes a high-end residential building, comprising 14 nine-storey buildings, which feature penthouses and 245 apartments.
The final component of the project is a seven-star hotel, which will have 28 floors, six restaurants, a gym, indoor pool and business centre. Increasingly, projects are focusing on the 2030 National Vision, which supports ongoing development, sustainability and diversity.
