Drake & Scull Platinum Sponsor of MEP Middle East Awards

Drake & Scull confirmed as the platinum sponsor of the 2008 MEP Middle East Awards.

Drake & Scull has been confirmed as the platinum sponsor of the MEP Middle East Awards 2008.

The 2nd annual MEP Middle East Awards will take place on Wednesday 3 December at the Mina A Salam, Dubai. A total of 14 awards will be presented at this year's event, with categories ranging from MEP contractor of the year to MEP Project Manager of the Year and Sustainable Design of the Year.

The contractor has shown its support for the MEP Middle East Awards by taking up the role of principal sponsor for the event. Drake & Scull is an integrated end-to-end service provider in the field of electrical and mechanical engineering. Its expertise in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contracting spans from providing complete solutions through design and build to engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), as well as maintenance and operations of district cooling plants and civil contracting services across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Over 200 industry professionals watched the winners of the inaugural MEP Middle East Awards collect their trophies at a gala dinner held in the Grosvenor House Hotel in December 2007. A total of twelve trophies were presented in 2007, with Atkins, Drake & Scull and ETA M&E Division being among the big winners on the night, having fought off fierce competition from their industry peers.

This year's event is set to be even bigger, with the trophies already in hot demand. To ensure your nomination is counted, see the official website online at www.itp.net/events/mepawards for an application form and further details of the awards and judging process. Entries are now being accepted for all categories.
