Manlift is to become the authorised Genie dealer for India.

The access equipment specialist will be responsible for sales, marketing, training, and aftersales support for Genie aerial work platforms (AWPs) in the Indian market.

David King, managing director for Manlift, is confident that he and his colleagues are well placed to grow Genie’s presence across the country.

“By awarding the dealership to us, Genie has shown strong confidence in Manlift to lead the development of the access equipment market in India,” he commented.

“Our highly motivated team will be able to offer our customers a full range of quality access equipment for a wide variety of applications,” added King.

Daniel Ho, regional vice president for Terex AWP Asia, a subsidiary of Genie’s parent company, is also optimistic about the partnership.

“We consider India as an important growth market for the Genie product range, and we are pleased that a progressive company such as Manlift will be representing our brand,” he noted.
