Imdaad recognised for its ActGreen Campaign

Imdaad features among UAE’s top 10 smart storytelling brands.

Imdaad was awarded second place at the Social Insights 2014 social media event.

Featured in the 'Top 10 UAE Smart Storytelling Brands', the company was recognised for the success of its ArtGreen Campaign, which boasted the most Facebook posts from SMT brands with 216,633 interactions.

Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “Imdaad launched its ActGreen Campaign on Facebook to spread awareness about the need for eco-friendly and sustainable solutions for a better community. We used Facebook as our platform because it has a greater online reach and helped our message get viral fast.

“We will continue to launch many more meaningful campaigns on various social media platforms to reach out to a large number of people."

Organised by Socialbakers, a social media analytics platform that assists brands in evaluating the effectiveness of their social media campaigns with competitive intelligence, the Social Insights 2014 event also celebrated the achievements of a number of leading brands including Etihad Airways, Armani Hotels and Resorts, Aeropostale, and Giordano.

The event highlighted the growing importance of social media networks as a medium for brands to expand their visibility, reach out to new clientele, and to solidify existing relationships with their consumer base.
