The programme is aimed at training and mentoring the next generation of leaders in sustainability and technology.

CH2M Hill has said that it will cultivate green practices to mentor, train and give objective advice to future leaders on sustainability, carbon emission reductions and climate change mitigation.

The agreement was signed last month at the launch of the Green Jobs Programme.

CH2M Hill' regional managing director for the Middle East, North Africa and India, Neil Reynolds, said:"

"The Carbon Ambassadors Programme aligns with CH2M HILL's strategy as a global sustainability leader. We think 'low impact-high output' in everything that we do and are pleased to support the programme and the participants as they become the future leaders in this exciting arena.

"Furthermore, we also support Dubai's strategy to become one of the world's leading centres for sustainability and the green economy."
