Dubai's EFS inks MoU with Egypt's Palm Hills

New facilities management deal will see Dubai firm oversea 18 projects in Egypt

EFS Facilities Service Group, a Dubai-based facilities management firm with operationas throughout the MEASA, have announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Palm Hills Development.

With operations commencing by first quarter of 2015, EFS is charged with managing 18 of the real estate developer’s projects in Egypt, as well as future projects in Saudi Arabia.

EFS Facilities Services Egypt Ltd (EFS Egypt) will provide services, which include management, operation and general preservation of assets and buildings within communities.

Active in the market since 1997, Palm Hills Development’s portfolio consists of integrated residential, commercial real estate and resort projects.

Commenting on the MoU, Yaseen Mansoor, chairman of Palm Hills Development, said: “The agreement between Palm Hills and EFS Egypt will enable Palm Hills to achieve and maintain the highest quality of standards that differentiates its projects by ensuring that the residents in its communities receive a comprehensive solution.”

“Facilities Management is a tool that offers the required services to the residents and the overall community that is currently missing in projects across Egypt where there is significant investments in long term assets,” added Tariq Chauhan, Group CEO of EFS Facilities Services Group.
