Bobcat targets rental firms with INTERMAT launches
Bobcat has announced a trio of telehandler launches for INTERMAT Paris 2015, including two aimed squarely at rental operators
Bobcat has announced that it will launch two rental-oriented telehandlers at INTERMAT Paris 2015.
The manufacturer’s T35130S and T35140S telehandlers feature a simplified design tailored to meet the requirements of hire firms.
The models’ sensitive components feature extra protection, and Bobcat has taken steps to improve the intuitiveness and safety of the machines’ controls.
“The introduction of the new 13m and 14m models at INTERMAT 2015 follows on from the launch of the new Bobcat 10m, 12m, 14m, and 18m lift height telescopic handlers over the last 13 months,” commented the manufacturer.
“Whilst they have a simpler design intended to meet the needs of the rental business, the new T35130S and T35140S telehandlersstill offer many of the advantages of the new generation models,” Bobcat added.
The rental-oriented models sport panoramic cabs with parabolic windscreens, digital displays, and forward/neutral/reverse joysticks for ease of use.
The T35130S offers a maximum lift height of 12.55m and a maximum forward reach of 8.6m, whereas its bigger brother, the T35140S, boasts a lift height of 13.6m and a maximum forward reach of 9.8m.
In addition to its rental-spec units, Bobcat will use the French trade show to launch the 6m-reach TL358, a compact telehandler tailored for use within confined workspaces.
INTERMAT Paris 2015 will take place from 20-25 April. For a comprehensive preview of the event, check out the April 2015 issue of PMV Middle East.
