Kärcher has announced the opening of the Kärcher Centre along Salwa Road in Doha, Qatar.

The facility will serve as a sales outlet and customer service centre for both the company’s professional and home and garden products. It is also expected to offer cleaning services and products, as well as after-sales services, repairs and maintenance.

The Qatar facility is now one of four other Kärcher Centres in the Middle East, which includes the centres in the UAE, Oman and Egypt. The cleaning technology provider has also announced the launch of a centre in Bahrain in the first quarter of 2015, as well as plans to establish a facility in Kuwait and a second centre in Dubai.

“Kärcher’s operations in the Middle East have seen consistent growth over the past years as the cleaning and hygiene industry gathers pace. We sold 13,280 machines in Qatar in 2014 and had 31,720 after-market spares and accessories,” said Richard Nouira, managing director of Kärcher Middle East.

The launch of the new facility in Qatar stems from the long-term partnerships with Qatar Trading Company (QTC), who have entered into a joint undertaking with Kärcher.

“The Kärcher Centre will be a flagship facility in the Qatari market, reinforcing the combined strength of Kärcher’s cleaning solutions and QTC’s market knowledge to provide a best in class service to all customers,” said Tariq M. Al Shamlan, managing partner (DMD) of Qatar Trading Company in Doha.
