Developer Kleindienst is to begin selling underwater villas on its Heart of Europe island project this weekend.

The villas will be constructed at the company’s Heart of Europe offshore island development, which is part of the manmade The World project which lies around four kilometres off the Dubai shoreline.

In an invitation sent out to prospective customers, the company says the villas will begin at a pre-launch price of AED5 million and be built over three levels. The lower level will be submerged.

The villas will cover a floor area of 1,700 ft2, and completion is expected in 2017. Kleindienst says they will also offer a construction linked payment plan for customers.

Company CEO Joseph Kleindienst says, via the company’s website, that: “Our vision is to create an elegant European lifestyle experience where every detail is underscored by luxury and perfection and draws from the very best of European designs.”

The launch event takes place on the 20th floor of Arenco Tower, in Dubai Media City, from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday.
