Transguard appoints new head of sales & marketing
William Moroney joins the Transguard Group as chief sales & marketing officer.
The regional business development specialist will support the company’s future and sales growth strategy from the newly created executive level position.
Part of Maroney’s responsibilities include segment strategy, and improving client relations, market competitiveness and pricing. The Irish national is also expected to oversee the group’s customer retention, acquisition and revenue goals.
Commenting on the appointment, Transguard Managing Director John Nolan said: “In order to maintain the momentum of our long-term business development strategy we identified a need for group-wide sales and marketing leadership from a strong regionally-experienced individual who was ready to take on the challenge.”
Maroney previously worked as Middle East regional sales manager for Hewlett Packard Financial Services. He has over 15 years of experience of operating in the region, and has worked in a number of international business, sales and marketing roles.
