Hyundai wins $126m power deal in Saudi Arabia

Firm will lay down transmission lines in capital city Riyadh for Saudi Electricity Company

Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co has won a $126m contract to lay power transmission lines in Saudi Arabia.

Hyundai E&C will install 249 km of a 380-kilovolt transmission line throughout Riyadh for the Saudi Electricity Company. Construction is expected to take about 24 months.

Hyundai E&C said it currently has a total of 13 projects worth about $1.4 billion underway in the0 country.
