GENAVCO to open Abu Dhabi Quick Lube station

UAE-based equipment dealer, GENAVCO, has revealed plans to open a Quick Lube facility in Abu Dhabi in mid-2015

GENAVCO has revealed plans to open an Abu Dhabi Quick Lube station during in mid-2015.

The facility is to be established as part of the UAE-based equipment dealer’s ongoing partnership with BP Lubricants, and will supplement the firm’s existing Quick Lube station in Sharjah.

GENAVCO has also mooted plans to open similar facilities in Dubai to serve the commercial vehicles and industrial sectors, although no definite timeframe has been announced.

“GENAVCO is going to continue to concentrate on the Quick Lube segment,” explained Babar Ahmed, the dealer’s division manager for BP Lubricants.

“We have already established a Quick Lube station in Sharjah, and very soon, we will be opening a facility in Abu Dhabi.

“We hope to open this facility towards the middle of 2015. This will not be a huge station; we’re going to have two pits capable of accommodating both light and heavy vehicles. To start with, I think that these two pits will do a good job,” he told PMV.

The firm’s Quick Lube stations are designed to allow vehicle and equipment owners to have their units’ oil changed in a timely and convenient manner. Technicians at the facilities will offer BP Lubricants and ancillaries.

“We are also looking into opening similar facilities in Dubai’s industrial areas,” said Ahmed.

“These are likely to focus on commercial and industrial customers. They are slated for the future, but we have no definite timeframe for their establishment at this point.

“We want to establish Quick Lube stations elsewhere in the UAE. Our end users are looking for the convenience to reach these places, so our strategy for these facilities is to expand as far as possible,” he concluded.
