Larsen and Toubro wins two new GCC projects

Indian-based contractor will undertake work in Saudi Arabia and Oman

Larsen and Toubro has said that a number of its Middle East subsidiaries have recently picked up new orders.

L&T Oman has received an order from Salalah Free Zone Company for the construction works of Adhan Phase 1A.

The scope consists of building a potable water network, an irrigation water network, a storm water network, a sewer network, irrigation and firefighting reservoirs, pumping stations and control rooms.

Meanwhile, Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia has bagged orders from the National Grid, Saudi Arabia (a subsidiary of Saudi Electricity Company), for the construction of 132 kV cabling & 132 kV double-circuit transmission lines in Buraydah and Hail Areas of Saudi Arabia.
