Al Shirawi CEO recognised as FM CEO of the Year
Navin Valrani, CEO of Al Shirawi Facilities Management, was presented the FM CEO of the Year award at Arabian Business’ 2015 Indian CEO Awards.
At the 4th annual Arabian Business Indian CEO Awards held at the Sofitel The Palm, Al Shirawi Facilities Management’s CEO, Navin Valrani, was awarded the Facilities Management CEO of the Year.
The event lauded the achivements of Indian business leaders from across the region and a variety of sectors, highlighting their contributions to their respective fields.
The Dubai-based FM provider was recognised for its work with a host of clientele, such as such as the Roads and Transports Authority and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During his time as CEO, Valrani has also ensured that Al Shirawi FM secured ISO 9001, 14001 and OSHAS 18001 certification.
Commenting on award, Valrani said: "I would like to thank ITP and Arabian Business for giving us this recognition This award is for all our 1,500 employees in the Facilities Management business and is a testament to Al Shirawi's leadership position in the Facilities Services industry."
The gala event, hosted by ITP Publishing Group, featured a key note speech by former Indian Ambassador to UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia, Talmiz Ahmad. ITP’s chairman and BCC broadcaster Andrew Neil also took to the stage.
Al Shirawi FM maintains over 275 contracts and employs a workforce of over 1,500. In addition to its facilities management services, the company’s IT infrastructure includes an in house 24/7 call centre, as well as a one-stop shop for energy saving and asset tagging packages.
