Mott McDonald agrees joint venture in Iraq
Construction consultancy signs agreement with Khudairi Group targeting more work in the oil & gas market
Mott MacDonald has joined up with Khudairi Group to deliver oil and gas projects in Iraq.
Khudairi Group provides construction services to the oil & gas industry in Iraq and has three divisions offering engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), oiflied supply and services and heavy machinery.
It employs more than 250 staff.
Mott McDonald said the move combines its engineering and technical support skills with Khudairi Group's procurement, inspection, expediting and construction management services. The firm was heavily involved in rebuilding Iraq's infrastructure and delivered 1,000 projects in six years, including upgrade work at the Rumaillah oil field.
