Three Kuwaiti engineers have been honoured by their peers during the 18th Gulf Engineering Forum, hosted in Doha this past week.

Ashwaq Al-Mudhaf, Anas Al-Mushai'li and Dr. Adam Al-Muallah were each honoured for their pioneering engineering work. Al-Muallah led a project to develop environmentally friendly anti-flammable materials which are used in trains and airliners. The project was a combined effort which received backing from Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), as well as universities in the US and Kuwait.

Al-Mushai’li is the director general of Kuwait Society of Engineers, and Al-Mudhaf leads the team at Dar Ashwaq Al-Mudhaf Engineering Consultants.
