DuPont introduces Ti-Pure One Coat paint to GCC
The latest product from the US-based company helps paint manufacturers to create formulations with superior hiding in flat- and low-sheen coatings.
DuPoint Titanium Technologies has introduced its range of Ti-Pure One coat paints to the GCC.
The new products were unveiled during the Middle East Coating Show, which ran from the 9 to 11 of March, 2015,
A critical part of the newly created product line is the Ti-Pure Select TS-6300 titanium dioxide, created through DuPont’s proprietary chloride-base process. This results in high quality and performance pigments, which assists paint manufactures in creating formulations with superior hiding in flat- and low-sheen coatings.
“Using our Ti-Pure One Coat approach with the new Ti-Pure Select TS-6300, our DuPont technical specialists - in collaboration with our partners - developed paints that expand the limits of coating hiding power,” said Plamen Gospodinov, business manager of Eastern and Central Europe and Arabic Gulf States for Dupont Titanium Technologies.
He added: “Ti-Pure One Coat is the result of understanding our customers and trial studies with painters around the world. Their insights have validated the preference for superior hiding in enhanced paints that deliver superior performance.”
DuPont Titanium Technologies is part of Chemours, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dupont. The company is slated to separate from DuPont by mid-2015, and is expected to create a publicly traded company with a focus on chemicals.
