Benoy to design $133m Riyadh Park mall scheme

Practice will design new Riyadh Park mall project for local developer Asala Holding

The $133m (SAR500m) project is a luxury retail and leisure mall including an external boulevard and an internal plaza area with entertainment and leisure areas.

Benoy said its internal landsacaping will continue al al fresco theme within the mall, which will contain a fashion zone, restaurants, cafes and kiosks. There will also be parking for 2,000 cars. The project is due to open its doors at the end of 2016.

Benoy's head of MENA, Paul Priest, said: “We believe that KSA represents a market with the vision to realise world-class architecture within its cities and as such is an exciting and inspiring environment for Benoy.”

Fouad Al Rashed, CEO of Asala Holding, added: "This will be one of the trendiest and absolutely spectacular malls in the region.”
