German cleaning specialist Karcher, and Jordan’s Tillawi Group, have installed a gantry car wash system at the Royal Palace of the King of Jordan in Amman to cater to the 200-strong royal fleet.

The multi-functional 'CB Line' gantry wash system recycles up to 85% of used water for re-filtering – a strong selling point in Jordan, which was ranked second in a list of water-poor countries in 2014, according to the Jordan Times.

Prior to installation, the system was put to the test by the King of Jordan’s engineering team, who assessed the set up based on its water efficiency, energy efficiency and overall cleaning utility.

“The successful implementation of our CB Line for the King of Jordan is a great vote of confidence for us, and a testament to the quality of our car-care products” said Richard Nouira, MD of Karcher ME.

Wafeeq Tillawi of the Tillawi Group also lauded both the project and the long-standing partnership with Karcher, noting the quality of the products and the thoroughness of Karcher’s services.

He added: “The CB Line adds a great amount of value to the market in terms of professional and industrial services, as well as to individual consumers, as their gantry washes are end-user friendly.”

The CB line remains one of Karcher’s most popular products in the MENA region, with 11,966 machines and 6,529 accessories and parts sold between 2012 and 2015.
