As CWQ Awards 2015 draw near and nominations come in, sponsors are gearing up for the event, along with contestants from all sectors of Qatar's construction industry.

Platinum sponsor Jaidah Heavy Equipment believes the event is an ideal forum to increase its market share.

“Jaidah Heavy Equipment is a platinum sponsor for CWQ awards 2015, and through so doing aims to strengthen its position as a premium products and aftersales service provider in the Qatari market,” Ayman Ahmed, managing director of the firm says.

Ahmed adds that by being a part of the CWQ Awards, “the company is also supporting the boom in the construction segment, by awarding the best achievers of companies and individuals in this field”.

Jaidah Heavy Equipment has increased its market share over the past years, making it a key player in the Qatari market and thus participating in National Vision 2030 by supporting the economic development of Qatar.

Being a platinum sponsor at one of the most recognised construction events in the region goes a long way to adding to its market share and profile.

Silver sponsor for the CWQ Awards, Ali Al-Khalifa CEO of ASTAD Project Management says that the changing landscape of the GCC is the “global epicenter of infrastructural development at the moment” and points out how the urban landscape of the region is changing on a daily basis.

He emphasises that it is important to “recognise some of the most iconic additions to the ever-evolving skylines of the GCC metropolises.”

Being part of the CWQ Awards is important to ASTAD, he adds.

“It’s always good to celebrate achievements, to reflect on the past and look to the future. Recognition is an accelerating factor and provides motivation that raises competitive standards in the industry, and overall performance. Rewarding achievements also helps in attracting and retaining talented professionals.

“CWQ Awards present one of those exceptional occasions where industry leaders meet to celebrate accomplishments, which is why ASTAD is thrilled to sponsor this fantastic event for the second year in a row,”  Al-Khalifa adds.
