Emirates Transport scoops Imdaad fleet contract
Imdaad has awarded a three-year fleet maintenance and repair contract to Emirates Transport
Facilities management firm, Imdaad, has awarded a fleet maintenance contract to Emirates Transport.
The three-year contract will involve the complete maintenance and repair of Imdaad’s fleet of vehicles and equipment.
The deal was signed by Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO of Imdaad, and Mohammed Abdullah Al Jarman, general manager of Emirates Transport.
Commenting on the agreement, Lootah said: “We have signed a three-year agreement with them [Emirates Transport] for our fleet of vehicles, because of their dedicated auto repair and maintenance services, delivered by their experienced teams of technicians. We are confident that with the handing over of the contract to Emirates Transport, we will be able to focus on our resources to improve our core offering by enhancing operational efficiencies and controlling costs.”
Al Jarman added: “We [Emirates Transport] are delighted to enter into this agreement with Imdaad, which has a huge fleet of vehicles that require regular maintenance for optimal performance. Emirates Transport’s strength lies in its in-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance, use of innovative technology and the latest equipment, and highly trained human resources, which empowers it to optimise the fleet to the lowest possible lifecycle cost.”
Emirates Transport will use its network of 52 workshops to cater to the Imdaad fleet. The firm employs 1,850 mechanics and technicians, who offer maintenance services to 22,000 vehicles of more than 150 outfits across the UAE.
