Arabian MEP wins 16 substation contracts in Qatar

The subcontract's latest projects include both 66/11KV and 132/11 KV substations under the Kahramaa Phase-11 power expansion programme

Arabian MEP has secured 16 substation projects in Qatar so far this year.

The contracts have been awarded by a selection of international contractors.

New projects include both 66/11KV and 132/11 KV substations under the Kahramaa Phase-11 power expansion programme.

The project sites are located at Al Dayyen, Al Themaid, Al Bahya, ISF North , ISF Ssouth , AL Rayyan, AL Khore , AL Mashaaf , Doha Industrial B, EDC-8 Primary , Rawdat Al Khalil , PSS4 , PSS6 , Al Heedan , Al Wukair 1, and Learaig.

Arabian MEP will provide building engineering services including HVAC, lighting , small power, plumbing and drainage works.

Commenting on the contract wins, Vasanth Kumar, CEO of Arabian MEP, said: “As a home gown Qatari company it is our duty to associate with such mission critical infrastructure projects of national importance as Qatar continues to progress on its path towards Qatar National Vision 20130 master plan."
