Juma Al Majid Group, the exclusive distributor of Yokohama tires in the UAE, has announced plans for a showroom in Sharjah, to be commissioned in August 2015, in an expansion of its network of Yokohama tyre service centres.

Juma Al Majid and Yokohama have been supplying the UAE market for more than 50 years with tyre product with applications ranging from high-performance and light commercial to off-the-road (OTR).

“Sharjah is a prime location and the most vibrant market for the tyre trade in the UAE. We knew it was imperative that we should have our own representation within this market by providing an exclusive outlet,” said Hassan El Haj, GM for the tyre division at Juma Al Majid.

“The showroom is easily accessible from the main road and ideally located in close proximity to other major vehicle distributors and service centres with ample parking facilities for our customers.”

The showroom is equipped with the latest 3D wheel alignment technology and vibration control systems, and set up for tyre repair services with an advanced ‘tyre-changing machine’ that can handle products up to a 30" radius and service up to four cars at once.

Over the next three years, Juma Al Majid Group plans to open six more outlets in the UAE.
