One dies in accident at construction site in Oman

An expat construction labourer succumbed to injuries on a construction site in Oman's Salalah area. 

The heavy equipment operator was working on a JCB machine to dig a building foundation.

The machine deviated from its path and fell into a pit, residents of the area were quoted saying by Muscat Daily.

The report added the worker's colleagues said the machine "had developed a technical snag".
